Starting in 2020, I became a full-time certified Language Arts teacher. Since then, I have worked with both middle and high school-aged students. I have taught fictional and nonfictional creative writing, poetry, argumentative essays, opinion writing, research writing, literary analysis, and foundational literacy skills.

I have a passion for teaching these skills in ways that are both meaningful and memorable for students. Namely, by teaching them in ways that are relevant and build on real-world skills that extend beyond school.
